For Sherry Stone, grooming is more than just a job; it’s her life’s calling. With 40 years of experience, Sherry is truly a student of the craft—putting time in to become the seasoned professional she is today, and building a team of groomers, truly, second to none. Moving across country from Georgia to Nevada in 1993, Sherry has become deeply rooted in the High Sierras, and aims to provide top-quality grooming to the Northern Nevada community for years to come.

The Stone Dog salon reflects Sherry's love of art and animals and provides a beautiful haven for your pet to look and feel their best.

While it’s a safer bet to call ahead, don’t hesitate to come by and see what we’re up to. You’ll experience first-hand just how much we enjoy our dogs, and just how much hair can accumulate in a matter of minutes. In the 2-3 hours we spend with your pet, we take time to build the trust necessary for a lasting, professional relationship, while providing a haircut you’ll almost definitely appreciate more than they will. Finding someone you can trust to care for your animals the way you do is tough business, we get that.
